I worked as an editor and proofreader on 17 textbook titles from Oxford University Press (Southern Africa) between 2004 and 2007.

This lead, indirectly, to Text Bites: a multi-genre literary anthology for South African secondary school learners published by OUP in July 2009.

Although I no longer work as a copy editor, I do occasionally take on projects as a "literary editor", helping writers with manuscript development.

I have a somewhat different editorial capacity as editor of the journal Shakespeare in Southern Africa.
